About NLPNLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) provides tools for better communication with other people and for better communication with ourselves. NLP develops these tools by modeling the internal experience and external behavior of those who are particularly good at something, whether the "something" is learning more efficiently, establishing trusting and loving relationships, or getting over phobias quickly. NLP was developed by John Grinder and Richard Bandler in the late 1970's and early 1980's and since that beginning has blossomed into a rich and diverse field with many contributors exploring new areas. See the Recommended Books and Tapes for suggestions to learn more about the field. If you are in the Chicago area, you can use this site to learn about training opportunities near you. If you are not close to Chicago, we suggest that, to actually experience NLP and learn its skills, get information from NLP Training Centers near you. Those centers can also refer you to individuals trained in NLP for personal change work, business consulting, and other services. |
